Welcome to the home page of one of South Africa’s most well known Rottweiler Kennels. 

This kennel was founded by Jaco De klerk in the early 1980’s. He has in this time successfully produced large, powerful, and substantial Rottweilers with movement that typifies balance and power. Total acceptance of children is an absolute necessity for all Chanteur dogs. Emphasis was and will always be on a well balanced mind in a balanced body.

Jaco De Klerk has now retired from all hands on breeding and have transferred the Chanteur Rottweiler Kennel to Osman Damon to continue with these values and principles. 

I am Osman Damon and I have been entrusted with the huge responsibility of continuing the Chanteur breeding lines. Together with my close Rottweiler companions, Shamiel Mukaddam and Sulaiman Damon we will continue to breed, show and work our Rottweilers the German Way.

The Future: Chanteur Rottweilers 

Chanteur Rottweilers has always been a combination of German and South African bloodlines. This proved to produce a Rottweiler in type that has been extremely successful when judged by ADRK and International Judges. In order for me to continue with this legacy I have secured several new German Bloodlines into my breeding system which includes top German producers the likes of, Mambo v.d. Crossener Ranch, Like vom Sittard, Balou vom Silberblick, Cliff Von Der Konigskanzel, Akino vd Lauterbrücke and Rick vom Burgthann and many more. 

Top quality pups are available for showing and breeding. We have successfully exported pups to many countries. At Chanteur Rottweilers we believe our dogs are good enough to compete anywhere in the world successfully. Not only that, they will prove to be an asset to your breeding program as their genetic dominance will be vital in adding hybrid vigor to your breeding program. A strict culling program has resulted in the elimination of all known carriers of genetic faults and unsoundness.
