I
acquired Chanteur Bouka (Gunta) as an 8 week old pup from Mr Jaco De
Klerk of Chanteur Rottweilers. He became one of the most sort after
studs in South Africa and has produced several of South Africa’s top
dogs over a 4 year period. Amongst others is
Chanteur
Cayla, Sputnix Honey of
Kimshoaz, Sputnix Horez
and
Vondriska Bellina of Einzigartig.
In 2004 Bouka was put through his
aptitude test.
He passed with absolute flying colours and scored an
aptitude excellent,
the highest score for a rottweiler in the past 15 years in South
Africa. To quote Chris Pretorious (vice chairman Western Province
Rottweiler club) who witnessed the test on the day “My only regret
was not having a video camera at hand to video his near perfect
performance”.
Very
rarely does one own a dog that excels as a stud, as a working dog
and at conformation shows. A special thanks to Jaco for affording me
the opportunity of owning a dog of this caliber.
Chanteur Bouka was the most sought after stud in South Africa for
the year 2008. Gunta your untimely
death has been a big tragedy to me and the rottweiler fraternity as
a whole.
